Sosta is one of the major European manufacturers of welded stainless steel pipes for applications in oil & gas, LNG, (petro)chemical, shipbuilding, desalination, water treatment and energy industries. Located in Könnern near Leipzig, in the centre of Germany's new industrial heart, Sosta started the production of welded stainless steel pipes from plate in 1995. Three years later, the Sosta plant extended its possibilities and capacity with a fully automatic production site for welded stainless steel pipes from coil. Today the annual capacity of the plant equals about 15.000 tons.
Sosta operates according to an ISO 9001:2000 certified quality programme. A complete range of testing facilities on-site contributes to consistent quality control. Due to investments in modern forming & welding techniques, we can meet the most stringent market demands in terms of price, quality and delivery times.
